At the start of their sensory journey, panelists can comfortably wait in the reception area while viewing the agenda for daily happenings.
Sensory Booths
This area allows panelists to engage in product discrimination tests and descriptive panels. Showcasing 17 individual sensory booths, with one booth complying with Americans with Disabilities Act standards, each is equipped with a serving window connected to the kitchen. Positive air flow pushes any strong aromas from this room into the kitchen.
Kitchen
The main site for product preparation prior to panels and connected directly to the sensory booths, this space houses commercial grade equipment, including microwaves, a stove top, and an oven, fridge and freezer. It also contains a TV where Bell’s Consumer and Sensory Science professionals can track the progress of panelist tests.

As its name implies, this space is dedicated to consumer research via focus groups. It includes a corporate-sized table and two-way viewing mirror, and features live stream capabilities for remote individuals.
Our viewing room allows customers to view and hear focus group discussions through a two-way mirror and audio speakers.
