Bell Names New Managers for Fragrance Production, Lab and QC
Bell Flavors and Fragrances is proud to announce new hires at its Headquarters in Northbrook, IL and Fragrance Manufacturing in Middletown, NY, underlining the company’s commitment to grow its global flavor and fragrance business.
Marlene Espinosa was appointed Production Manager at the fragrance manufacturing plant in Middletown, NY. She will be responsible for managing the liquid fragrance compounding and botanical extract manufacturing areas, as well as the implementation and training of the plant wide safety program. Marlene received a BS in Chemical Engineering from UNI, Nicaragua; a BS in Management with emphasis in Healthcare from Kaplan University, and a MBA in Supply Chain Management and Logistics from Kaplan University.
Melissa Scharoff was recently appointed Fragrance Laboratory Manager. Her main job responsibilities include training, assisting and mentoring all lab technicians on daily functions and safety procedures of
the lab. Melissa completed a BS and Master’s Degree in Chemistry from University of Rochester.
Eric Alexander was recently appointed Quality Assurance Manager. He will manage all aspects of Northbrook Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs. He will also develop, implement and maintain SOPs for Quality Control Assurance, HACCP programs and maintain SQF Certification. Eric previously worked for Tyson Foods in various quality assurance positions. Eric graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Microbiology.
